Extended Enterprise Data Sharing Network Project

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has undertaken a project to create a statewide data sharing network based upon platform. WEDC has selected Acumen Solutions to work with an advisory group of economic development partners to develop a standard configuration of the platform. Implementation will help the network streamline services, reduce duplication, manage organization activities and outcomes, and coordinate information and resource sharing.

This project will also integrate the Skills Wisconsin project, which currently has all 11 Workforce Boards utilizing Salesforce to improve matchmaking of jobseekers to employment with businesses across the state and connect with the technical colleges on training.

The first phase of planning is underway and will be completed mid-September. The second phase of customizing the system and migrating data will be completed the end of October. The platform will be deployed, along with training, to 50 users by the end of the year. Fifty additional users will be added by June 2014, and another 50 by June 2015.
