New WEDC Website

WEDC launched its new website on May 23, InWisconsin.com, to help businesses find answers they need to succeed in Wisconsin while also providing information to site selectors and other economic development professionals looking for information on business opportunities in the state. The site also helps Wisconsin's more than 600 regional and community economic development organizations share information and co-market the state's business climate through a self-service portal that provides access to In Wisconsin branded marketing materials.

Salesforce Extended Enterprise Integration, Implementation and Support

WEDC has requested RFPs from firms with significant experience to develop a standard configuration through Salesforce that can be used by extended enterprise partners to streamline services, reduce duplication, manage organization activities and outcomes, and to coordinate information and resource sharing among economic and workforce development partners. The goal is to have two phases of implementation in place by Sept. 30, 2013. You can get more details by reading the RFP Salesforce.com Extended Enterprise Integration, Implementation and Support.

FY14 Operations Plan

WEDC has started developing its operations plan for FY14, which will be presented to the WEDC Board in July. Following approval, WEDC will make the operations plan available publicly through its website. WEDC will also conduct regional meetings with partners in August.

South American Trade Venture

WEDC seeks Wisconsin companies to participate in a global trade venture to South America, September 8-17. The goal of this trip is to assist small to medium-sized companies from Wisconsin to export products and services to this exciting market. Export Award Winners

Prolitec in Milwaukee, Johnsonville Sausage in Sheboygan Falls and Power Test in Sussex were presented the Export Achievement Award at the 49th annual Wisconsin International Trade Conference in Milwaukee. Watch these videos to learn more about the companies.
