Partners in Economic Development Membership – Local Elected Officials
This new Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) membership level is designed to meet the informational and educational needs of local elected officials. As the largest economic development focused association in Wisconsin, WEDA provides extensive services in economic development education, legislative advocacy, and services to support economic development efforts of our members. With over 400 economic development related professionals as members, this creates a diverse network that can be used as a resource on economic development matters.
WEDA staffing model is focused on advancing the educational, legislative and services needs of our members. The association has staff dedicated to:
Executive Director - Brian Doudna has over 20 years of economic development experience and can assist in providing general direction that can assist members in their economic development efforts
Government Relations - Rebecca Hogan has over 15 years of experience in developing and advancing policies and political strategies.
Association and Conference Coordinator - Megan Purtell has over a decade of experience in coordinating and delivering educational programming in the field of economic development.
